Why am I doing this campaign?

Lets join together to build a water well in the honor of Amtul Nayeem. Sadaqa benefits the believer not just in this life but the next.

Sadaqa averts calamity and increases sustenance and blessings in one’s life. Allah says in the Qur’an, “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned,” (Qur’an, 2: 245).
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi). He also said that Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqa: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).
Ramadan is a time to increase our good deeds and to connect with those who regularly go without food and water. This year, we should also reach out to those at greater risk of the coronavirus pandemic who may not have access to adequate protection and healthcare.
Give generously in this blessed month and ask Allah to make your sadaqa a protection for you and your loved ones.

What's the issue?

There are 780 million people living without clean drinking water. In parts of Africa and Asia, people have to walk up to five miles to get clean water for their village. Women in Africa and Asia walk 4 miles to get the same amount of water that Americans use in two minutes on average in a shower. The clean water crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our lifetime. Through this campaign, we hope to help tackle the crisis directly.

Why should you do this campaign?

Water is one of the basic necessities of life. Helping people get easy access to clean water means one less thing they have to worry about.

Facts & Figures

More than 4,000 villagers have benefitted from the current Solar-Powered Centers! These incredible feats of engineering not only provide running water to the homes of up to 1,500 people and 1,000 livestock, but also supply electricity and power to schools and places of worship as well! Placed in desert areas, the Solar Water Panel & Power Centre can fill a reservoir that holds enough to hold 3 days’ worth of water to ensure they don’t go without on those cloud-covered days.

Which countries are you bringing clean water to?

This campaign will bring clean water to Pakistan!

How much does it cost to help bring clean water?

One Well, 300+ individuals ($2,000) - Beneficiaries are provided a deep water well!
