انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

“Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we return.”

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)

We remind you of this hadith in honour of the mother of one of our founders at the Bradford Foundation Trust. She passed away today, Friday 6^th November. As so many people want to visit and pay condolences, but we a lockdown reality, so we have decided to establish this as a memorial page. All funds donated will be used for perpetual giving, i.e. a continuous form of charity.

Shadim’s mum has been a big inspiration for him, and for all of us, due to a truly inspirational and humbling patience with which she met many years of sickness. We would love to honour her spirit, with some ongoing charity to continue to help the vulnerable in this city. And something to maybe inspire you is that even in these last few days of her life, she had given a donation for the cause, and we wish to build on that.
