Why I am doing this campaign:

I am about to take on the grueling physical challenge of running my first-ever half marathon. That’s 13.1 miles to the finish line and even though this is an immense challenge for me, it’s nothing compared to the suffering and turmoil the people of Pakistan have endured.

Millions of people have been affected by the catastrophic flooding, and communities in Balochistan and Sindh have been particularly hit hard, with many losing their homes.

I would love to use my platform to raise funds to support efforts on the ground and my goal is for every mile I run, to raise $1,000. I hope my community across the world will join me in reaching my target and for every person that donates, as an extra thank you, I will also send a small postcard of a calligraphy design, signed and addressed to you personally.

How will this campaign help?

Penny Appeal USA will provide emergency relief to those affected by the disaster with food, shelter, and essential items.

Last year, Penny Appeal USA supported 80,000+ individuals worldwide through their disaster response program. If you have further questions, please see their recent Annual Report. To the best of Penny Appeal USA's ability, funds will be used toward the specified campaign, but in the event of campaign closure, the remaining funds will be used toward additional emergency response programming.
