About Islamic Relief Canada's Afghanistan Appeal

Afghanistan is currently undergoing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. Already struggling to recover from the effects of war, ongoing instability and natural disasters, people are struggling to survive. Growing poverty, drought, and increasing food prices, have further exacerbated the food insecurity that has left 12 million people facing extreme hunger and more than 3 million people just one step away from famine. 

Islamic Relief Canada is on the ground working to distribute emergency aid to those most in need across Afghanistan.
