Bismillah, As-Salaam wa Alaykum.  RAMADAN MUBARAK! Sixteen years ago, the late Imam Momdou Bah, founded the village of Farato, built its first Masjid, and created its only free classes for children to study The Holy Quran.

Today his son Alieu Bah, leads the five daily salat in the Masjid and directs the school.  Young Alieu, also a pioneer, created Farato's only computer lab and cafe. 

Casa Islam is a mutual aid and benefit organization created to finance the Islamic education of children and provide economic relief to the communities where they live and learn.  Based in San Francisco, California, Casa Islam was founded by African-American Muslim, Salah-Jason Ross Brown.

As Muslims, we are encouraged to give our money in the name of Allah.  Casa Isalm seeks your support to provide the students of the Alieu Bah Daara with a proper schoolhouse.  We contribute all we can to build an inspirational facility for learning about Allah and study The Holy Quran. Our strategy is to invest in projects determined by the people.  The Elders in the Farato Village have prioritized the Islamic education of their residents.
