About

What's the issue?

Imagine if the water you were drinking caused you to become ill. 784 million people across the globe do not have clean water and risk succumbing to dehydration, or risking diseases like cholera and diarrhea. 1.5 million people die from dirty water each year.

In many parts of the world, people have to walk up to five miles to get clean water for their village. The burden of walking for miles or standing in a queue for hours often falls on women and children. Women and children walk four miles to get the same amount of water that Americans use in two minutes on average in a shower.

The clean water crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our lifetime. Through this campaign, we hope to help tackle the crisis directly.

How will this campaign help solve the problem?

Clean water is a key factor in ending cyclical poverty once and for all. By providing communities with access to safe water:

we enable young girls to prioritize education instead of walking miles to get clean water for their families

create income opportunities via agriculture and livestock

improve the health of families across the world!

Through our Thirst Relief programs, we’re providing safe water to enable locals to drink, wash, clean and irrigate their crops as well as hydrate their animals. Our Thirst Relief programs lead to healthier lives, better-educated communities, and a route out of poverty.

Sustainable programs, such as our solar water wells, cost more up front because they’re designed to outlast us. That also means that a day will come when our beneficiaries don’t need us anymore. Plus, because of you, they can prioritize other areas of life like education and income generation!

Which countries are you bringing clean water to?

This campaign will bring clean water to Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kashmir, Nepal, Pakistan, and Somalia.

How much does it cost to help bring clean water?

There are various ways you can help bring clean water to these areas. Here are just a few options:

Purchase a Hand pump: $425 - Beneficiaries are given a single-serving hand pump in their village!

Purchase a Water Well ($2000 - $6000) - Deepwater wells are a great source of clean water in any village that allows for larger amounts of clean water at one given time.

Solar Water Power Center ($30,000) - Solar Water Power Centers are the best means for hundreds of villagers to get clean water through the power of the sun!

Will this initiative be carried out by a trusted non-profit?
